Rustavi is the largest city of Kvemo Kartli and is situated at 41, 5 and 41, 5 longitudes.
Approximately on the 350 meters above the sea-level
It covers 6060 hectare of the fruitless steppe territory on the south-eastern part of Tbilisi at 37 kilometers distance .
From the South and West side Rustavi City is bordered by the Ialguji and the Chathmi Mountains, as for the East side it is surrounded by Gardabani and Phonichala fields.
Rustavi City is divided into two parts by the River Mtkvari.
The climatic conditions of Rustavi are transitional from the Mediterranean Sea and Steppe.
The city is characterized by the inclement winter and dry but mild and hot summer.
28 k/m long motorway called "Tbilisi-Tsiteli (red) Bridge" (border of Azerbaijan) crosses Rustavi, which carries the worldwide importance as well as:
